View Typographic and Design Work
My photography training began with film at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Following a career designing interactive training/marketing products for the telecommunications industry, I returned to photography as it was entering the digital age.
My current focus is on portraits, theatrical photography, and lighting design. Assignments frequently include head shots and theatrical performances by actors and musicians.
I received my Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts majoring in Media and Photography. I am also an illustrator who prefers to work in pencil and pen & ink. Pencil renderings are my first love. However, I have also created illustrations using 3D software applications.
I have illustrated national ad campaigns, editorial news articles and magazines. I have also written articles on digital media and animation which have appeared in industry trade magazines and technical newsletters.
My experience in commercial art has encompassed publication graphics, layout & print design for marketing, and training materials, logo design, and promotional work. All of the graphic and typographic design on this site or featured in the products displayed in it, is my work.
Night Photography is a particular passion of mine. I often work with LEDs and colored gels.
I have exhibited widely at galleries in Central New Jersey including exhibits at Grounds For Sculpture.
